Happy Tuki Tuki Day!!!

Happy Tuki Tuki day!
I hope you all have a great feast!
I am really excited about my trip to הרצליה tomorrow.
הרצליה is by the Mediterranean so I expect there to be an interesting climate change from what I am acclimated to here in ירושלים.
Best wishes to you all.

Upcoming טיול to הרצליה

Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on recently. The Internet here was out for about a week.
This coming Friday I am planning on going to הרצליה. Almost everyone from the Yeshivah is going to go and it will be a blast! I will try to take some pictures of my trip and share some of them with everyone.
Learning here at מכון מאיר is really amazing and I am learning so much. There is so much to learn and I feel like I have only barely started to touched the tip of the iceberg.
I hope all is going well with everyone and I will attempt to communicate more often.

פרשת חיי שרה ב-קרית ארבע/חברון

This past שבת I decided to go to קרית ארבע for פרשת חיי שרה. I stayed with a family in קרית ארבע which is right next to חברון. One of the main things to see in חברון is מערת המכפלה .מערת המכפלה is where Adam and Eve, the Patriarchs and Matriarchs are said to be buried. It is a very interesting place. The place I davened שבת morning was at a family of כהנים who has 12 kids! Apparently they came to קרית ארבע on a school bus of some sort that they were living on and the father, being a carpenter, built on additions to the bus making it a permanent dwelling. In the afternoon we went into חברון on a tour with the head of my host family. I learned a whole lot about the history of the area and about the amazing dedication of the people who live there. I hope to visit again sometime.

נחל פרת טיול

Hey everyone! Welcome to my new blog.
I just thought I would start off by letting you all know what I have been up to.
Last week I went on a טיול to נחל פרת.
We hiked all around some hills and saw some amazing vistas.
I love hiking in Israel because it makes תנ"ך feel much more real.
This coming שבת I plan on heading to קרית ארבע/חברון.
It will hopefully be a great experience and a lot of fun.
I am really learning a ton here in Israel and hope to let you guys know more of what is going on as my time here develops. I will try to upload some pics as well.   Please let me know what you all are up to.
